More InformationIn the 1960´s Martin Group was born to solve problems in the application of reinforcements on fabrics and leathers. After patenting the “pressure lung” in 1965, they created the first heat-sealing press. After 15 years, they launched continuous adhesive machines like the Open Top and the X Series.
With over 60 years of experience Martin Group offers over 30 models of high-tech flat bed laminating and fusing presses, with over 50% of sales overseas. Compared with big solid machines (for example Meyer laminating machines) our machines are smaller, not so heavy and easy to complete by other machine parts like unwind, rewind, stacker , pick up belt and many more accessories, which are most of the time on rollers and easy to clip and unclip on the machine.

Martin Group is present wherever laminating / fusing production occurs, including the leather goods, footwear, automotive and leather apparel sectors. Martin group works with double belt systems which help to heat the material slowly in different configurations and with different pressure. Here are some examples for different confirgurations.
Martin Group heating system consist in anti abrasion aluminium profiles, the heating cartridge is inside the profile and allow to transfer the temperature in the correct way due to the low
tickness of the same. Temperature management via SSR Relay and continuous upper and lower heating geometry allow entry into AREA GREEN allowing energy savings of 30-40% compared to
traditional temperature management systems.
Available in standard S with pre-heating and final heating, or TB version independent upper and lower, or B version lower and upper in sequence and finally in version T upper and lower in sequence.
Next to one or double role system we offer also different kind of rollers in order to feed special needs of your application.
Standard (ST) – Pressure role System Standard(ST)
ST 2 silicon pressure rollers with same hardness ideal for processing any type of material is standard.
Adaptive (AD) – Pressure role System Adaptive (AD)
AD 2 silicon pressure rollers with 2 different hardness in same roll to allow uneven thickness fusing. This system enables you to produce in the same time different thickesses of material – for example 4 & 6 mm.
double rollersystem (DP) – Pressure role Systeme double rollersystem(DP)
DP 4 variable hardness pressure rollers ideal for externe fields requiring high pressure.
